Walking Tour of Oak Hill Cemetery, GNACE
Local historian, author, and guide Ghlee E. Woodworth will take participants on a 90-minute walking tour of Newburyport’s historic Oak Hill cemetery, one of the first rural garden cemeteries in the United States. Part of the Clipper Heritage Trail, Oak Hill is the final resting place of abolitionists, sea captains, benefactors, artists and authors who made their lives in the community.
