This summer and fall, experience the arts outdoors in beautiful Newburyport.

All types of outdoor art and sculpture will surprise you around every turn as you walk or bike the different sections of this easy trail right from downtown Newburyport. And your kids will love the swinging benches overlooking the water!
Bring a picnic or wine and snacks, then relax on your blanket or lawn chairs in your very own “pod” for up to four people, and watch two wildly popular musicals as the sun sets.
It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” https://www.firehouse.org/event/all-shook-up-live-at-cashman-park/2021-06-18/
August 13-29 at Smolak Farms in North Andover. A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life. https://www.firehouse.org/event/godspell-live-at-smolak-farms/2021-08-13/
